Problems with 3000GT

Is there anyone out there that can tell me whether or not the 3000 GT has any serious problems after 60,000miles...or any major problems at all!? I'm looking to purchase a 97 and I'm curious about undercover situations in the future to keep an eye out for!! Thanks...

They're known to have a bit of trouble with the exhaust, it tends to rust through and have leaks (I've had it in both cars, and they have less than 60k), but if you take good care of the car you shouldn't have much trouble. Make sure to do the services, and it will treat you as well as you treat it. Oh yeah, if you have chrome wheels, they're expensive to replace when they peel off..

The only other things I can think of are. The POS Infinity Gold Sound Sys. It will go out on you either the head unit or the underseat amp. The other thing I have noticed is the window regulators like to degrade and get choppy when going down.

The window is an easy fix. take the door panel off look along the top of the door you will find three allen set screws some where around 6MM and a nut around each one loosen the nut and turn the set screw in only a little and test to see if the chatter is gone then tighten the nuts and your done.
