Diamante 2004 vrx engine problem
 

Hello guys, new to the forum.
I have a 2004 diamante vrx, it has around 70,000 miles on it and the problem is that its engine shuts down while riding. There is no check engine light so there are no codes. In the last tune up i changed the engine oil and spark plugs, i still haven't changed the spark plug cables. A few days ago i replaced the car battery and installed a new gas cap. Also i have recently bought the ac evaporator to change that as well.

The car still shuts down, and im running out of ideas.

Also, where would i be able to buy new headlights that arent as expensive as the oem.

Check your security system, it's having immobilizer, it will shut down if detects something wrong within security system. It consist, alarm, stereo, trunk and hood switches, remote key and most importantly the ignition key. If key battery died or your using duplicate key that might mal function.
