Default ECO issues

in my '95 the Eco button is depressed but the light on the dash is not lit. How can i go about finding out if its the light, Fuse of some sort, or if its the button. I don't know if its in the eco mode or not.

its almost assuredly the light. does the "power" light light up when you depress the button?

it matters little, anyway... "eco" mode does nothing but short shift the transmission.
really, its more dangerous than helpful. if you NEED to accelerate, a romp on the pedal whilst in "eco" mode may not allow a downshift... thereby preventing safe driving.
you should leave it in "power" mode at all times. the best "eco" mode is you and your driving style. if you dont want to burn excess gas, dont stomp on the pedal!
