SO we just bought this 99 Diamante. Drove great , great power. 165K SO I come to this site to join up and become an expert and it seems ( if I am reading things correctly ) that this thread has been mostly dormant for Years. Scary.

I will post anyway. First thing we did was run the battery out by leaving the lights on all day and had to jump it. Now the Idle is rough and the CEL light is on.

Also I cannot for the life of me I cannot find the OBD Port so I can check the codes.

Aside from needing a few bulbs replaced the car seemed ok, until we let the battery run down. Also WHY is there no warning bell like in almost every other car I have ever seen to tell you the lights are on as you leave it?

SO I guess this place is different that the milllions of other Auto sites and instead of trying to help you are just asked What does the Manual say?? As if the information is actually there?? I have had a few cars and been a long term member of a few sites and seen MANY more but THIS is a FIRST LOL

FYI The MANUAL was read cover to cover mr. helpful , that is why I joined this site.

The OBD port is always within 2 feet of the driver.

Feel free to drink some ethylene glycol and stop stealing our oxygen. In the mean time, how about a vacation for being an obnoxious ungrateful assclown?
