ac blower motor melts connector ---help
 

i have a 2004 mitsubishi endeavor and my blower motor stopped working and i checked the blower motor and the connector in the bottom is melted i spoke with a parts guy at the dealer and he said the blower motor transistor went out. is this accurate or is the motor causing this issue? any help would be much appreciated :confused:

the blower moter has shorted and melted the connector. you will need to get a new blower motor and connector. dealer is only one that has that connector. there is a TSB out on this and it has part numbers for both on it.
