Cold Temp=Loud Valves=Synthetic Oil??
I have an 04 Endeavor that has noisy valves for quite a while after start during the cold months here in southern Ontario. It has had the work done for the service bulliten regarding the noisy valves.I was considering putting synthetic oil in for the winter months in hopes that it would help with the cold starts and possibly eliminate the noisy valves.
Agree or Disagree with me, please let me know since this is not a cheap oil change to do for no reason.

I didn't know. You set me off a-googling for an hour or two! And the conclusion I have come up with is that it don't matter if you change back and forth between synthetic and normal. Not sure why you'd want to do that, but nonetheless, it doesn't appear to matter.
