Tilting Steering Wheel/Spark Plugs

Hello all and I am brand new here. I just purchased a 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor SE 2WD. I have 2 questions. I believe the steering wheel is suppose to move up and down but the control on the left side of the steering coloum does not work. Is there a fix or will I have to take it to the shop?
My second question has to do with the best type of spark plug used in this particular SUV? I purchased this SUV with 27,499 miles on it. It smells brand new. So far i love the ride. It cam with 20 inch tires/rims. This size I've never seen on a car before. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. :)

if your plugs need replacing, use the same as what is in there already.
As for the steering column, if its a lever, hit it with a hammer to free it up.
If its electric, go get shafted by a dealer.

btw, plugs are specified by engine type, ignition type, tuning, and environment.
'11 se 2wd' is not enough information.

Not sure on your vehicle but on mine (2004 AWD with a V6) the intake manifold has to be removed to gain access to the rear 3 plugs. replace the plugs at 60K when the timing belt was due for service and also replaced the Water pump since It was off to gain access to the Timing belt.

go on genius. How are you going to free up a cammed lever thats seized?

You still havent even tried to back up or explain away your ignorance on the timing issue...

And from a literary standpoint, i AM akzle, you would have done better to put the sarcastic quote marks around "my buddy", because that, i am not.
I hope you dont hang out on english and grammar forums too.

Hello everyone and thank those who responded to my request for assistance. The reason I asked about spark plugs is, since 2011 I am sure there are some who have found the spark plugs that came with the car may not provide the best performance. Also, I would not dare use a hammer on any part of my SUV, but do agree that most dealerships will add what I don't need plus overcharge me for the initial repair :). It looks as if my steering wheel is jammed because the control that permits up and down movement of the steering wheel does not function. I am amazed that a major part has to be removed just to change the spark plugs. Anything to charge the customer more money? Thank you all so much. MusicMan :)
