Default BR330 Evo 8

Ok guys, need some help clearing some stuff. I was on buschur racing website and is impressed with the BR330 Evolution 8. I jus need to know exactly how you get this kit. I jus called one of the authorized BR330/350 Mitsu dealers and they can install the BR 330 kit but they would not give me the BR330 badge that goes on the trunk and fender, which I’m cool with. Also they can’t take off the stock catalyst converter, I’m not even sure if the BR330 kit requires the use of the stock cat or a test pipe. They alsosaid the kit would cost somewhere around $1400. Does anyone know how this really works cause I looked on the modification list for the BR330 and that doesn’t seem like much to increase HP to 330 and torque to 340. http://buschurracing.com/br-evo.htm

Did you happen to notice that it says EVO 9. But anyway unless it was a true BR EVO then i dont see the point in doing it. Like you said there really isnt a whole lot of modifications to justify 1400. Alot of it is just looks. To me the reason one would buy a BR evo is to get it badged and individualy numbered so that you get a rare car. That to me is the only justification.

Yeah I did some more research and I won’t get it. One reason is that the new HP gain is at the crank not the wheels. It’s easy enough to get those numbers doing it by your self. And the dealer I talked to yesterday said I wouldn’t even get the BR330 or BR350 badge. This kit is sort of like a promotion/recognition thing for both the dealer and buschur racing. Certified mitsu dealers would put the kit on for you, weather if it’s an eight or a nine. But you are right, it’s pretty much justification.
