Default head studs

i heard that if you get head studs you can boost at 25psi safly. is this true? also what ones would you recommend?

The stock ones do just fine. Where did you hear that from? Me thinks they need a little **** meat sandwich.

maybe sebba you need to NOT post about Evos, you have no clue sometimes. You will need head studs to boost up higher boost, BUT you still cant run 25PSI on pump gas either way unless you want to knock like a ****. on top of that the stock turbo is not that great past 23PSI so I would not recommend it head studs or not.

Dude im sure the stock hg+bolts can support 30psi of boost.

I highly doubt that. Head studs are among the first mods people do with bolt ons (including cams). 25PSI I wouldnt without studs most people dont

not really and that has nothing to do with his question. The people that do that are the ones who get cams and want to rev to 8k+. with out rod bolts the stock ones can stretch and cause a rod to snap

Yes, you should get head studs when you plan on boosting +23psi of boost. I've had conversations with GST, Jestr, and WORKS and they all recommended it.

I think the stock one is also good. stock turbo are fine as long you modified it something better like putting another part but notreplacing a stock turbo.

What is the famous chip that the Drift King Always replace?

so is 23 the maxi can boost while being safe with the stock turbo if i get headstuds?
