Default info on BOV's on evo's

i did a search for this briefly and found this thread: https://mitsubishiforum.com/m_38816/tm.htm
so the EVO's have the same problem as the 2nd gens? just want to make sure i'm understanding this. i want to learn as much as possible before i get mine in aug or sep. is there any way around it on an EVO? i know on the 2nd gens you either have to get a maf-t or stand alone.

Where have you been lol.... they are bad on the 03-04-05s the IXs are good to about 24. the VIIIs will only hold 16 PSI... if you run more it leaks after about 4000RPMs

You cant vent.... It is just like the DSMs. unless you get speed dencity (stand alone or something) There is no need for a BOV on the IX honestly dont waiste your money untill you are done with other supporting mods first cause it is over kill to start with that. a ECU flash is one of the first things you NEED to do (saves gas milage BIG TIME and make the car at least 20WHP more if not more depending on mods but most likely 40WHP or so with bolt ons)

I wouldnt get that from them. Its alittle pricey and you can get all that alot cheaper if you buy the stuff separate. And get a flash were you can send it back for free when you upgrade.
