Wow I had a 99 gst, but when the evo came out i did alot of research on it first. Ya its a high maintance car , but take care of it and it will take care of you. If you've been around DSM's u know should know something about evo's besides being AWD. If you do get one the first thing u should do is change all the fluids , Mobile 1 oil in the motor with mobile 1 filter , bg syncro shift II in the tranny and mitsu diaqueen lsd oil in TC and rear end. This fluid is so important and udon't know if the previous owner know enough to change these fluids out every 5,000 to 9,000 miles. The TC is the most important one cause its the weak link in the AWD setup of these cars so take care of it , fresh oil , don't do 7000 rpm launchs , and 150mph highway driving. basicly drive it the car normal unless ur out racing

okay well since then i have learned alot more about evos and awd performance and i am looking into other options as well as the evo. such as 3kgt and a wrx turbo but im still learning alot about all of them. i cant believe what noobish questions i asked when i first joined. just shows you that you can learn alot from this website and your help thanks.
