pistons are good stock so dont waiste your money on them till 500+HP. head studs and Cams and another flash youll gain another 40WHP or so. ad a Buschur race core FMIC and up pipe and youll do pretty damn good

hey emonz if i get the fmic, cams, and flash will that get me to 350 u think? also my friend thinks that injectors and fuel rail help a lot with stock turbo but i told him the stock injectors are fine for stock turbo. am i right? also do fmic's give a good amount of power off the stock turbo or isnt it much of a difference?

dont listen to your friends lol. you dont need any fuel upgrade esspecially a fuel rail. I ran a turbo upgrade and 400HP and used the stock rail. your injectors are fine unill you get a bigger turbo at this point. Cams and a FMIC will get you 350WHP on the stock turbo.

If you want a little extra play with the turbo have that upgraded by buschur to a 20g-9 turbo or something then 400HP will be capible but youll need some injectors at that point

would you say that the buschur racing FMIC is the best for stock turbo or would a turbo xs or other companysbe good too. also do i need upper ICP along with the intercooler or is the stock fine?and how many hours does it take for a shop to do cams? im trying to keep it under 2K.

I would do the buschur race core cause it is the most proven. Cams you can do your self dude they are super easy. youll need a Tq bar and a 10 mm socket and I think either a 12 or 14mm. If you look up on EvoM a how to: install cams there will be a good write up to follow. TRUST me you should be able to do it. and save yourself the time and money having a shop do it the hardest part is the timing belt stuff

There's been good write ups by AMS in the last 3 issues of Turbo magazine.

so is the fmic core just the intercooler itself or is that with piping? otherwise i would need to get the piping besides correct? also with the cams would you recommend cam gears or is it a waist of money?
