over boost need reason why
 

I have a 05 evo 8 with a PRofec B-spec II boost controler and it is over boosting. It happened one other time and i brought it to someone he fixed it. Itworked but it started agian the controller i turnned off and it is still doin it. I put all the settings as low a they would go still dose it. The only thing i did since it was fixed was remove the tube and the T fitting from the old boost gauge it was connected right to the turbo inlet. Why is over boosting so much a is there anything i can do to fix it. It over 20psi

make sure the EBC it hooked up properly. stock is 20.5 PSI btw and you will spike 2 psi or so more at first. what levels are you hitting

i have the same controller. mine works great. i had a boost spike problem where it would hit high but it would quickly drop to under 10 that was a screw up from the guy that put it in. he forgot to take out a piece of packing that it came with. however with the controller has to do with the settings. use your manual it came with. if u have problems hit me back.
