I can see sum1 ripp me another one for this one. But im just wondering how much would have to be done.besides replacing the tranny, do I have to replace the tcase? Cuz it has different gears inside?! No clue, just looking for sum advice for the parts I need, not how dumb of an idea it is. Jw cuz I find gsr's for the same price as mr's.

Seriously this is just a pointless post. May i ask why this is being asked. GSR's are alot cheaper than MR's. They are going for under 20k on some of the older years.

 

Im just wondering and why not if there the same price? And I could prolly sell the old tranny for more and make sum money off of it. And just cuz I throw it out there doesn't mean im gunna do it at all

 

Where can u find them for under 20K?!the cheapest I've found is like 21/22 with like 55k miles

 

over 50K you can find them for under $20k. you gotta look but I have seen quite a few on EvoM... There is a sho selling a beat up inside Evo for $13k with 78k miles. and they are also offering to build up the motor tranny and fully repairing the car (not sure for the Price then)

there are Tons for sale for $18k area and some for around $16k with higher milage

 

Its quite common actually. The MR 6spd SUCKS BIG ONES. It is very very weak and it is slower in the 1320. it is only slightly better in the autoX (which the car was made for I know)

 

ya not really sure why you would want to buy an MR then turn the 6 speed into a 5 seems like it would just be easier to buy a 5. but ya hes right the 6 speed in the MR is glass

 

Im just not sure of how safe it is to upgrade turbos on a car wit higher mileage like that, without rebuilding the whole thing
