Hey everyone. I'm a newbie to the forum since I just becamethe proud owner of a brand new Evo IX last weekend. I'm already making some changes. I just installed the new Alpine iDA-X001 head unit (the one made for your iPod) and it's awesome. Thanks for the posts about the MITAH adapter I'll post some picks of the install when I get a chance. Highly recommend this stereo...the iPod integration is awesome.

My next thing, and I'll need your help, is to try to switch out the gauges to put in some white-face gauges. Does anyone know if there is a kit for this? Also, can you change the illumination color of the gauges? Thanks guys.

 

to change the color you gotta pull out the gauge clutster and puti n colored LEDs instead. or get colored condoms for them. the factory are clear with a blueish condom on them I took the condom off mine just to make the color glow alot brighter.

also keep in mind the R\A lancer has white faced guages and they are pretty much the same as the Evo other wise lancershop.com should havethem
