2000 Galant Moist Weather Cylinder Backfire

Hi,

I've had this problem for a while: after moderate rainfall, or foggy and moist weather, the 3rd cylinder on my 2000 Galant (with 55k milse on it) backfires. The car vibrats and shakes, after which the '"Service Engine Sooon" light comes on. I've done a tune-up about 6 months ago, putting in platinum spark plugs, airfilter, wiring, etc. The car runs and starts perfectly fine in dry weather, and after it has been warmed up.

Some pople say moisture is getting into the spark plug..however im not too sure about that. Any suggestions?

Thanks

did you replace the coil boots? Or the individual plug wires?
