2003 Galant-Any problems?

Im looking for a new car and am strongly considering a 2003 Galant ES...about 16k miles. Are there any known quality problems with this car? A friend told me they have problems overheating..anything like this? How are the maintenance costs?

The 2.4 Liter motor is quite reliable. Its a widely used motor by Mitsubishi. The noise from the front sounds like either a bent rim or a mis-balanced tire.

2003 Galant-Any problems?

I have a 2003 Galant ES. Even though i've only had it for about a month, it's been a good car. But, the truth is, all cars are made by people. Problems that cars have can happen on any manufacturer. I just rid myself of a Mazda 626 customized car and I previously had a 91 Honda Civic before that. And the Civic had more problems than all my cars. So what i'm saying is check out the body style and everything and see if it's what you want. Like I said, even though it's only been a month, I like my Galant.
