Default 2004 Galant

Hello,
I am a first time car buyer and I have just fel in love with a 2004 Galant. It is a cheap car and that is what I need. The reason it is cheap is because it has 103k miles on it. That seems like a lot to me but I'm not sure how reliable Galant's are. So basically what I'm asking is how realiable the Galant's are and if 103k miles is too much. Thanks!

hey man i am the owner of a 2000 mitisubishi galant gtz sliver and I have owned the car for 7 months and bought it with 111k miles on it.
Your galant seems to have alot of miles on it and the car is four years old.

I would consider you look at changing like belts and waterpump, if you know they havent been changed.

Also if u have the cash go to a mitsubishi dealer and get a tune up service.

Hi all, i'm owner of gallant too. my 1999 gallant has 75k miles on it. i'm only use it once a week

Do you have pics of your gallant?

the important things is check timing belt. make sure that previous owner has changed it. as mitsubishi recommends, it must be changed every 50k - 75k miles.

Enjoy your ride with Gallant.
