8G galant right rear window issue

Ok, heres the deal, my right rear power window started acting up recently & its pissing me off now. The window would roll down just fine with both the master switch & its own switch but won't roll back up. After trying to get it up & then giving up, I took the motor out & bench tested it, it had burned out. So I changed it. Tested it with a battery & it moves in both directions. I hooked it up & it would only go down. Then I tried the door switch. I swapped it with the left rear & no change. The left rear window with right rear switch went up & down with no trouble, switch is good. I saw a few posts about the master switch going bad so I went on ebay & got one for $23. Changed it and nothing, same problem. Today I ripped out the wiring harness for that door & checked it for insulation breaks or burned contacts but didnt really find anything. I had done the same with the driver front door & repaired some insulation breaks but I'm still having this damn problem

Is it possible that the relay wou lx fail like this or is it possibly the "front ecu"/etacs module? I already dropped a few bucks on this issue and dont want to change anything else if its not certain. Any help would be awesome & greatly appreciated

why did it burn out? An electric short? Is the new motor still good?
Did you thread it properly, or is it at the end of its wind and cant go up?
Does it try making noise when switched?

The motor came with the regulator already installed & it does make an audible click when trying to wind down but not up. I tore apart the old motor & asides from a little stink, I couldnt see any reason that caused a burn out. No wires were touching, the brushes looked ok and the gear turned smoothly by hand.

The new motor winds up & down when attached to a battery so I know the motor is good. The switch works on another window so thats ok

trace the wiring. Make sure you have 12v at the door.
Sounds like a connection issue.
