Couple of things to consider when buying that year Galant. One that Galant does not have the transponder key. If someone wants to take off with your ride they can unlike the later years where each key has a chip that will be needed in order for the car to start. Second try to make sure you get a Fed Spec Galant.

i realized just was purchased a black 99 galant ES.. (gift)
it cost just about 6 grand or so.
depending on the milage - the price will range.
look @ private sellers - this way you can negociate the price.

Hey,good deal! I found mine on Ebay.Biggest chance I took so far,& most spent there so far.I made the search local,but I was sweatin' over that one.Seems like a good car so far.Got mine below blue book,& the lowest rating for it was around $6000,but I think its more like $7500

Now that you mention it:D...I was thinking of wheels,lol,but that will have to wait.I just put on new tires on the stock ones though.What year is your V6? When did you get it,this week?

actually i have a '97 MAZDA MX6 LS:) im in this forum b/c i need to find that part for a family member. she got it a year or so ago. her galant is a '99 V6. we're probably just going to get the hood for $180 & pay the damn shipping. lol
