Advice about buying a used 2008 Galant
 

Hi,

I'm a college student looking for a used car and recently came across a 2008 Galant ES with 124000 miles on it. I am yet to have a look at it firsthand, but my man says it is in really good condition and requires no immediate maintenance, new tires and all. Mistubishis are generally well valued in my home country but I recently moved to USA and I don't know how it is here. What I want is a reliable car comfortable for long rides too. I don't have the money or time to frequently take my car to the dealer to fix it. So I would like to have your feedback on the following things.

1. Is the 2008 Galant reliable and durable if it is well maintained? Are there any issues I should look out for? (especially after 120k miles) What are the most frequent issues encountered?

2. Is it comfortable for tall passengers/drivers?

3. What are the main issues I should check for when I inspect the car? Also, what would be a good price for it if it is in really good condition?

I have done a lot of online research already, but no information is better than yours since you guys are daily users of this car and are so familiar with it.
