guys,

its a mitsu galant 2002.
there are two sockets (car charger sockets) , both of them were not functioning.. how can i open them to repair.

If your talking abt the power ports, check your fuses.

 

Ya it sounds like all you need to do is check the fuses for the cigarette outlet like dsm1990gsx. The fuse is usually somewhere around the steering column. I know on a lancer its to the left of the steering wheel, not too sure where it is on a Galant. Hope that helps...

i checked the fuse and it is okay. now i guess there is some thing to do with the socket. i guess the socket is not fixed correctly. this is a used car..i can see it rotating. if i want to see the wiring on the back side of the socket, then how can i proceed?
