Help!! po300

cant get this code to go away or the car to quit missing. I did a search and checked the first 10 pages before posting so if it's a repost sorry. I've replaced the coils, plugs, wires, crank position, cam posion, water temp, sencors, timing belt, cam gear. it has no vacume leaks and good compression, plugs read clean. it doesnt always do it, but when it does the tack goes iradic also.

Its probably a loose connection some place. Most likely a ground strap.

Are there certain things you can do to make it happen?

it'll do at random. cold or warm it doesnt matter. I checked all the grounds and conections and they seem good.. I cant seem to find an ecm localy. anyone have one for sale? now the tach just quits working from time to time.. when the tach doesnt work it doesnt miss.

ok new update I removed the cats and it didn't help. also if I unplug the wires from the coil the tach just quits working for about 6-7 blocks

Does 2001 have cop?

RE: Help!! po300

what is a cop? I pulled the dash loos and changed the instrument panel with a new tach that didn't help also traced all the wires through the harness and couldn't find a break or short.
