I need to get to the power window motor for repairs (driver's door), but cannot remove the door panel...it seems to be attached at the top where there are not any screws or mushroom clips. I have gently pushed up from the bottom, but to no avail...it does slide sideways about 1/2 inch. It is a 1997 Galant. Any suggestions?

 

since it is an old model it's quite natural that u r facing issues in removing the door panel..try some allignment steps or rather take it to a dealer.
