I need to replace the expansion valve in my 1996 Galant. I believe its located behind the glove box area..but not certain. Any help where its really located and any special advice or info concerning replacing it.

you are correct, it is behind the glove box. but!! its inside the the evaporator core unit. your going to have to take out the evaporator core unit and then take it apart. its inline on the suction side of the pipe going to the core itself. its look a little intimidating, but its not to bad of a job, take your time and remember how u took everything apart. greg......
