Building a 500 HP 4G64 isnt the problem.
It's having a transmission that can handle the power and TORQUE.
If there are those of you who feel it cant be done, it would surely be because you have no experience in building or TUNING them.
There are PLENTY of 4G63 and 4G64 1G's, 2G's, GVR4's and 2.0/2.3/ and 2.4 litered Turbo Colt Mirages online at www.galantvr4.org, and www.4g61t.com.
-I'm certainly not trying to dissaude you or anyone else from tasking on a swap like what you've stated, but you might want to do ALOT of homework into what it REALLY TAKES to do such a swap.
-Does your chassis make provisions for a 1G style motor and tranny.
-If not do you have the funds for someone to weld a 1G style motormount and tranny connecting points to your chassis
-How are you going to wire up your engine
-What ECU engine management are you going to use?
What you'd would like to do is highly tedious and VERY LABOR INTENSIVE.
With the various 4G63 chassis platforms available to you, I would highly suggest you chose from one of them before you put your daily driver under the knife. Hey, when all else fails, you still have your DAILY DRIVER to get you to work!
Food for thought..

Sorta new to forced air induction...But I like it.
I have a 95 Galant 2.4 and a 93 Eclipse 1.8, both stock.
Say I wanted to fix one up with a nice turbo /cold air intake, and maybe some bigger injectors...Which would be best, and why?
Racing isn't a big thing around where I live but there are a few people I can't beat with my stock cars ;(...
My Galant will smoke my eclipse as is...If this means anything
Edit: They are both 5 speed SOHC 16 valve FWD (dont think any are rear, maybe AWD)
On a side note, Which engine would hold most rpms without blowing? I would think the 1.8..I haven't ever wound it out like I have my 2.4..I can take it to 6400, rev limiter at 6500
