My '99 G is in the body shop!
 

I had backed out of a parking spot at the video store,stopped,& was just about to put it in 'D' and leave when I got nailed in the rear drivers side quarter panel. Some woman with a small kid in the front seat,not even in a childs seat,backed her white Hyundai Sonata out w/o much of a backward glance at a pretty good clip.Then after getting all the required info,with her admitting fault...stupid me went home w/o making a police report.As soon as I get there her husband calls me & says he want to come over immediately to look at my damage.I say I was leaving,but he insists.Gets there then says something that almost got me an assault charge.."I wanted to get a look at it right away,because for all I know you could take a sledgehammer to the dent to get more money":eek: " Huh![:@] I say! Yeah,I always go around waiting for someone to hit me,so I can then go home & destroy my car,so a body shop can make more money from the other morons insurance company" As if I make anything from being w/o my car while its repaired? 1st he said he wanted to handle the estimate personally,then changed his mind..so I was the 1st one to contact both agencies,since he was starting to play games The damage comes out to about $750,& their insurance co. called me back to say they are 100% responsible! Anyway,in the meantime,their insurance got me a rental 2005 Grand Prix to drive for about 3 days:D
