P0300 Multiple Random Misfires

My '99 ES 2.4 is misfiring and the tach is bouncing all over the place. The engine runs fine and idles but the rpms don't match the sound of the engine. When driven the car misfires under a load but cruises fine. The code that pops up is P0300, Multiple Random Misfires. I've replaced the coils, wires, and plugs. It still misfires and the tach is all over the place. I've checked the injectors, the timing, all the connections, and wires, all are fine. Help. I'm lost. Thanks in advance

Try a compression test and make sure thats 100%, what kind of plugs and wires are you using?

Compression is good. Using NGK plugs. I've used two different kinds and no change. There is oil getting in around the plugs on cylinder 2 and 3. I'm gonna test my TPS today to see if that's ok.

How bad is the oil b/c that will cause issues as well.

The oil was just changed. I tested the EGR today and valve is fine but the electronic part doesn't seem to have the correct ohm reading. I unplugged it and tested it with multimeter and it read 4 ohms.

No, oil getting into the plug wells will cause missfire problems.

Even after I put new ones in. I cleaned the holes out, put new plugs in again and nothing changes. The tach is still all over the place. I plan on putting new valve cover and spark plug hole gaskets in this weekend. The car doesn't misfire right away, it does it after driving for awhile. It idles well, but the tach is just on crack

Could a hole in my exhaust after the first O2 and before the cat cause a misfire? Everything else on the car is checking out fine. The only thing off is the O2's are fluctuating quite a bit. The hole is in the flex pipe.
