Power Outlet/Cigarette lighter probs
 

Hi there,


So I have a 2007 Mitsubishi gallant and my power outlet all of a sudden stopped working. We had had a GPS plugged into it for a very long while and it worked just fine. When we took it out, it stopped working.




I have replaced the fuse, and even the whole the outlet contraption itself, but it still will not work. What can I do now?

Not sure if it has any similarities to a 99 Galant but i had the exact same problem. The only solution I could get it fixed is by replacing the entire power wire that runs from the fuse panel to cig/12v lighter ports. Also i used a thicker wire like an upgraded one. Hope this helps
