Problem!
 

Hi all! I have a '93 Galant E54A with the 6A12 engine, and i have a problem with the engine. It doesn't work properly. I mean when i push the throtle slightly i goes about 3000 rpm not more. It starts to shake and to stop going on. When i bury my foot down, it's like it hits a wall. The engine tries to shut down...The air filter is new, so as the fuel filter and they are installed properly. It was at the shop about 3 weeks, the ignition sparks were changed but nothing else because they didn't know whats the problem! :( On the diagnostic with a tester it didn't show anything. Please if somebody had the same problem help me!

I wanted to know if anybody had this problem and how it was diagnosed and removed. How can i know/check any of the eventual bad components.

Make sure that the air and fuel is mixing properly. It is essential that air and fuel mix appropriately, compress and ignite for the engine to start. There are certain times that the Mitsubishi engine may have a leakage in its cylinder. Because the valves will not be fully sealed to compress air and fuel properly, the engine might fail to start.

The problem is not with the starting of the engine. It's in the throtle response.

could it be a bad ignition coil? How can i understand which is the bad one? Because there are three of them as you know...

is the exhaust plugged ???? tps shorting out ????
