Replacing a 4G64 with a 4G69 on a 97 Galant

Hello forum memebers! I'm pretty new here and I have a question, Is it possible to replace a 4G63/4 engine with a 4G69 on a mitsubishi galant? are the mountings the same? electrical stuff and sensors? and if it's possible, am I going to have to change the transmission along with it? like get the engine along with its tranny? and lastly if the operation is worth it.

Any feedback is much appreciated and thank you in advance :3

Thing is I found an abandoned 97 galant and its engine is shot and its a bit difficult to find a replacement 4g64 in good condition for it, shortly after i found a scrapped 05 galant with a 4g69 engine and tranny in pretty decent condition (has around 112km/70k miles on it) and that's when it this idea came to me, i can get em both (the abandoned galant and target engine w/tranny) for less than 800BD (2000 USD) and i plan to do the swap myself so no extra labor charges to add. Thought I'd ask around first, thanx for replying 2001mitch!
