What do you mean aux to 3.5mm? What is 3.5MM and what is the aux? Are you talking RCA to headphone?

nahh.... I need to hook up my sirius radio through the cd changer control out. This is the aux output and I need it to go to a headphone type jack to my sirius reciever. I know I can use an FM relay, but if I use the aux line I'll get better fidelity. You know of anything out there??? I can get the mitsubishi aux line for 50 bucks, but I don't know if it will do the trick or not, w.r.t. the jack I need. thanks.

The problem is what line does what... Besides that you have to think that the controls are also put out on those same lines. You'd have to figue out which ones are the audio in's. It could be done but I dunno which wires are what. I don't even know where you'd go to research that info....

RE: Sirius Radio Install - Aux Cable???

Basically, the AUX input location on the radio (normally used to control a CD Changer and transmit audio signal ) is used for the satellite radio. There are adapters out there that are made for pioneer, alpine, kenwood, and so forth, that are specifically designed to use the cd changer input control (AUX IN) as an input from an MP3 player, iPOD or other source that uses a similar jack. I'm looking for one of these, but for the stock unit. I don't want to buy a new head unit, when the one I have seems to work just fine with the system.

Ah O.K. you've got to understand that the signals are quite different from a CD changer to a Sirius XM reciever. My Pioneer head unit is XM reciever ready so I just plug into the back of my radio and I'm good to go. Might check with sirrius themselves to see if there is someone out there that produces what you seek.
