temperature sensor

HI....

I'm looking for the exact location of a temperature sensor of a mitubishi galant 1.8I 08-1990....i thought it was right underneath the inlet-manifold in the engine-head(sorry don't know the right technical word for it .stupid dutch guy)

Because my engine runs pretty okay in cold dry weather but runs really bad when it's warm and dampy especially when accelerating.

thanx in advance

temperature sensor

I drive a 1990 galant gs, I think what your looking for is the MAP sensor. It senses temperature and pressure, its possible that thats your cars problem. The sensor is located inside the air box, it disassembles fairly easily. The sensor is inside the actual stock air filter (its big so you cant miss it).
