Default turbo conversion

kia ora mitsi owners,

just wandering if anyone out there has taken a td04 turbo off there galant and replaced it with a td05h turbo, and if so how hard was it? i heard it was pretty much bolt off bolt on. im having boosting problems too and im hoping a quick turbo conversion might solve my problem. i have replaced my exhaust manifold with sum custom headers would that have any effect on my boost? so far thats my only mod, i've only owned the car a few months but plan to hold on to it for a couple years. i'll be rap't as withany ideas or info any one has for me, thanks

Default turbo conversion

OnU.S. spec cars, the TD04's(13g) are found on the auto eclipse turbos. Many owners have swapped it in favor of the TD05(14b). The say it is only a bolt on affair, no custom anything needed. Since you've already changed the exhaust manifold, make sure it's port matched to the new turbo. A good idea is to replace oil lines since they may cause the new turbo to die off prematurely or coke up.
