Where's the block coolant plug? (2001 2.4L Galant)
I'm doing the 60k tuneup & maintenance on my wife's 2001 Galant. The service manual says there's a drain plug on the block for removing the rest of the coolant. But I can't find it. Help!
Also, what's up with the timing belt needing replacement at 60k unless you live in CA, VT, or a couple other states? Is it a legislation thing, or was there a quality difference for vehicles originally purchased in those states?

If you cant find it, the one thing you can do is remove the hose going from the radiator to the engine and take a water hose and stick it in the opening where the hose goes and just let the water run in there until it starts comeing out the same hole nice and clean.
