04 es!! help tuneing

Hello fellow Mitsubishi enthusiast. I just got me a 2004 lancer es stocked. Always wanted to get me a lancer or evo and I finally did! Pretty happy I got it but was bumbed I couldn't get a ralliart :\ I was wondering, since barely no one that I've seen does anything to this 04 what I should do to tune it up. I was thinking of getting the engined done first then the body. Any ideas?!!

I just got an 04 lancer also, and I love it. I got a few minor things out of the way such as tints, seat covers, subs and amp, ect; just a little work to make the ride more enjoyable. Now that I've gotten some of the cosmetic stuff outta the way, I'm starting the on the engine. Its proabably where you wana start too. The stock engine only puts out 120 horse power and thats not nearly enough for me. Headers, exhaust, and intake are tops on my list right now. I'm gettin ****ed on car insurence right now so it may take me a while to piece all that together, but I know my patience will pay off. The last thing I'm gona end up doing is any kind of body work, suck as kits, paint job and whatnot. I find its better to wait till the end to fix up the outside. I hope you gain some info outta this message. Enjoy the ride!
