2010 Lancer ES manual noise first gear
 

I bought it 3 weeks ago. While I releasing the clutch, and when I start pressing the gas pedal the car makes a noisy click noise. This happens after I start the car and after I reverse it (normally I do so). Any ideas? Thanks.

Make shure you are pressing the clutch pedal to the end, if its a car with some miles on it, some corrections can be made to the wire that connects the shift lever to the gear box......if it's new, take it to the dealer an use warranty for a revision.

I got my 09 lancer vr 3 days ago, and i must say i thought i heard a clicking noise after reversing and in 1st gear. I only have 50,000 km on mine. Has anyone else had the same experience?

I've had my 09 Lancer ES for over 2 years now, and I bought it new, and it has always made that same noise. I hasn't caused any problems yet, and I haven't done anything about it because my friend and I both figured it was normal. To me, it doesn't sound like an unhealthy sound.
