2010 Lancer SE Question.

Hi there. I'm new here and I just bought a brand new Lancer SE 2010 and I have a few question for you guys.

First of all the car is mostly stock right now except tinted window. I'd like to do some light moding to it. But since it's new I don't want to Void the warranty. I'm wondering if I could install a custom exhaust and air intake without have issue with warranty later. I know I wont have any warranty on the part I would install but if my engine get some trouble later and it's not caused by the air intake or exhaust will they say it's voided or it would be fine.

I was looking at the Greddy exhaust and probably a CAI don't know wich brand yet.

I also want some HID light but I want to do the install right and so I want to get some projector. I know K2motor sell some but for 1200$ it's a big No No and I don't like the R8 look like led strip in them. Tought I like the Halo ring they give a little Demon look to the car. I also heard they only fit the EVO and not the normal lancer without cutting the light harness and messing with DRL etc, wich void the electrical warranty.

I'd like to know if any of you know someone or a place where I could get some retrofitted projector (with halo ring if possible). I'm willing to spend some money on that but not 1200$ (I'm probably willing to pay up to 800-900$ without shipping). I think I will also need a special wire harness so the DRL would work propelly (probably with the halo) and to buy balast after. I would certainly do the retrofit myself but actually I don't know how to do this at all and I don't want to be out of 500$ if I make a mistake. There is certainly someone on this forum or somewhere else that can do that.

To void a warranty the aftermarket part had to of caused the problem (period).. if the dealer tries to say some stupid **** and you know he is bogus than call him out.. but the exhaust couldn't cause the motor to blow because it makes it breathe more and the intake makes her breathe and cool faster which are two parts that make it better on the motor..

If I were you just keep stock headlights and just get some HID's... aftermarket headlights suck especially with those led strips or projectors.. the leds burn out and you can never line up the projectors no matter how much you try..
