2010 Lancer, under 10K km, with AC problem, is it possible?

I found a great deal on a 2010 Lancer DE. In fact, I went to two different dealerships, and they claimed that they could not possibly match that price. I am a bit uneasy because with less than 6000 km registered on the odometer, the AC blew out warm air. The salesperson said he would refill the refrigerant once I put down the deposit. The dealership is legitimate, although small. They also said they have manufacturer warranty and that there has been no accident. I wonder if the car has been rebuilt. The engine, the interior and exterior look perfectly new though. Any thoughts? Is there a way to find out if the car is not original?? Is the deal too good to be true? Thanks,

The fact it lost cool air means there's a leak or defect somewhere. Replacing refrigerant will not fix the problem. So you will have to get it warrantied with the dealer yourself after you've taken hold of the car....provided there is no issue with this vehicle.

Next, you must and I mean must compare the driving feel of the DE to the GTS. While I know cost is a consideration, the GTS just feels outright like a different car. The GTS has better and bigger brakes, upgraded suspension and a better engine.

If the deal is really good, find out why. That problematic AC raises a red flag as a car that new should not be having that issue.

Good Luck.
