Default 2014 Lancer Es Sport Rear lights and licence plate lights

Hey all,

A few weeks ago I was checking fuses in the passenger compartment and touched my tool from a fuse to a metal plate next to the panel.

Ever since then I’ve had trouble with both rear tail lights and licence plate lights. Neither work whatsoever and I have checked every fuse in both fuse panels.

I checked the wiring for the custom taillights and license plate lights and all was good. No blown bulbs and the taillights come on only when braking.

I need to fix it as I drive at night often.

You check all bulbs front and back, all fuses and wiring.

Check the Light Switch and sometimes, very rare the ambient light sensor.

Default Fuses are a nightmare

My friend accidentally dropped a rare fuse from my 2012 Avalon and it screwed with all electronics. And nothing online showed the weird fuse. It was a short white thing that I've never seen before. I actually kicked dude in the face when he was searching for it. I regret doing that but I was angry. Thank God we found the fuse after hours of searching the ground like crack heads.

just get a device to check fuses and go from there
