6g75 engine swap
 

i'm thinkin of puttin a 6g75 engine (same engine as the 06 eclipse) in a 2003 lancer along with the eclipse's 5 speed auto tranny...anybody know of any cuttin i might have to do? an any new suspension suggestions?

i would say its easier and possibly cheaper to buy an 06 eclipse...

Hey, sorry i dont have an answer for you, actually im trying to do the same thing with a 3000GT Vr4, and i was wondering if u had figured anything out?

If you're asking the question, you shouldn't be doing it. The complexity of the job is far out of the scope of your knowledge.

You're a student, you need something reliable and within your price range. That will just be a money pit.

im not too concerened abt price, i got the car for like $500 and it needs a new engine regardless. so i was trying to upgrade.
