I have a 2009 lancer gts with the fast key system, today my car keys died while at school. I thought it wouldn’t be a problem because of the emergency key but when I went to start the engine with it, it cranked for less than a second and then stopped. I know the car’s working because the spare key starts it, just wondering why the emergency key wouldn’t work
