Lancer EX (1500cc) turbo-fit

Can you fit the 2009 Lancer EX (with a 4A91 1500cc engine) with a turbo-kit? My Lancer does well, but I just need a bit more power for those long trips outside Amman, especially to Aqaba and/or Irbid.

I originally wanted to get the 4B10 (1800cc) equipped Lancer EX, however, the dealer only delivers them in 1500cc and 2000cc. A pity too, because the 4B10 is mated to a more advanced MIVEC system, and fuel consumption is only marginally higher (if at all!) and even better at freeway speed! At a 144hp, the 4B10 (based on GEMA-parts) is the best compromise for power and fuel economy.

I find that the 4B11 of the Lancer EX (GT/GS) is powerful, and I would personally prefer it for long-trips. That being said, it is not suited for in-city driving in Amman. By the same measure, the 1500cc engine is fine, even for highway driving but occasionally our hills can test it, & one needs just enough kick to get it up the hills: especially with a full passenger load.

Hence a turbo in theory resolves the problem.
