Looking to purchase an oz edition and need opinions....
What's up everyone? I'm here looking for some information. Currently right now I have a sentra se and am thinking about going to a lancer. I have found locally a lancer oz rally edition with 58,000 miles on it. It is an 02 with a couple of mods on it. Is there anything I should look out for when I check out this car? Can you guys tell me about this car? Thanks!

Please buy the 2008 Lancer. you better off with a newer car.
58,000 means you have to change to timing belt, shocks, tie rod, bolt joint etc etc.
I bet it will cost you that Oz rally with the same amount withDE model of 2008 or 2008 Lancer.

Apparently the timing belt and shocks have already been replaced. Of course I will check for receipts. He is asking for 8k and it has 17" rims, full stereo with tv, catback and intake. Just a few minor mods. I will deffinetly offer MUCH less and possible a trade with my sentra.

I just got an 03 OZ and love it (Would have got an 08 GTS but cant afford 20K right now haha). It has a lot of miles on it 90k when I got it and it still drives very nice (going from a 94 Chevy Cavalier with 152k when i got rid of it). I love the OZ even though it is 5 years old. I have wanted this car since it came out (when I was 15) and I just recently got it. If you have the extra money and can afford the payment go for the new Lancer but if you cant and want a fun car get the OZ. Just my opinion.

You can still used the OZ car until 200,000 miles. I recommend to baby the clutch if it is Automatic.
if you have the manual try to change the tranny fluid ASAP.
Japanese cars are all the same as long you take care of them they will run forever.
My last Mitsubishi was about 120,000 miles before I traded in for the New Lancer 08. They bought my Mirage for $2,000
My Lancer has 35,000 miles and still running good with no issues.
knock on wood!!
