I'm going to be in the market for an 08 in the next couple months.
I'm gonna buy the GTS model, since the Evo is not yet available.
How do you like it?
pros.
cons.

sorry, but im stoked to see an 08 owner.

Much like you, I also have 2g but in white...the gts is really nice, the rockford fosgate system is real loud for that car (maybe borderline overkill), mitsu gives you 6 months of satellite radio for free, and the bluetooth is cool. The shift paddles, to me, is all hype. I like pushing in the clutch and redline in gear. Although it will redline with "cvt" there is no lag when upshifting so that is nice. The MIVEC kicks in real good also at around 3k. The clutch is a lil soft as well as the steering. Being the 2nd person to own the new '08 from this particular dealer, I get a lot of attention. All this for less than $20k is a great buy. I have most of the features in the Lancer that my sisters E350 for $40k and she has to pay for her satellite radio. The engine 4B11 block will be the same as on the new evo X.

I did the simple bolt ons onmy 2g, in my opinion, its just as fast.

My only gripe is the A-piillar. It is very wide and with the mirror in the way it is a mean blind spot.

Anymore questions just let me know.
