'94 Neutral Safety Switch Installation?
 

Some background on the car first, I suppose. Is an Eagle Summit ESi, auto, 1.8liter 4G94 engine and F4A22-2 transmission. Neutral safety switch was completely missing before, so no idea how it was attached, but I THINK I have the bolts and knut for it (see imgur album ).



Advice on how to install? Only thing I could find online is that both the electronic switch (the shiny silver thing) and the trans itself are supposed to be both in neutral.



I tried that way. Shifts through everything okay for the most part(a little hard to get it to go in "low", but that is more due to linkage adjustment, which I'd also like tips on if anyone knows..) For some reason the pin (image 2) sortof "pops" down(can pull back up fine by hand). Needs to be in the up position to move to park, but every time I try to shift it when assembled, it pops it back down and won't go into park.


Am I missing any parts?
