Default 98 Mirage Rear Window Defroster Problem

Hi all. New to the Forum. I have a question.

My rear window defroster is not working. I recently had body work done and the rear window was removed and replaced. I figure the electrical connector wasn't reconnected since it was working fine before.I am somewhat mechanically inclined, so I would rather fix the problem myself...if I could find the connector. Does anyone know where the defroster connector is located? Pics would help.

Thanks for any and all help.

Marty

its going to be in one of the rear pillars or under the rear deck. i've torn apart the rear deck and havn't seen anything that would indicate a switch in there, so i'm going with the "it's hidden in one of the pillars" option. It'll be buried, you'll need to remove the rear seat and seat belts to get to it at a minimum.

check your rear window if you see a small plug attached to the window softlypush it a little and checked if it's working properly especially during foggy day.

The window defroster doesn't really get broken

Well, I wouldn't say it's broken, only a disconnected plug. I assume, if one has to remove the rear window, something electrical would have to be disconnected in order to do that. I think that has happened. I really don't want to bring the car back to the body shop. I kinda need it right now.
