Default Analytical!

I drive a '97 Mirage, and I've been looking forward to make a unique, in looks as well as performance. So my question is "Which engine fits best?" and "Is it posible to fit a JDM 6G72 3.0L V6 DOHC 24 VALVE on a Mirage?". i've seen a sentra swap mounting a v8 as well a v12 on a supra. SO is it "Plausible?"

you can swap just about any motor into any vehicle with enough money and enginuity. The problem however will be in weight distribution. The 5th generation Mirage has pretty good handling characteristics with it's factory provided platforms (4g15 & 4g93). If you swap in a heavier motor/tranny combo, you throw the vehicles factory designed geometry off, and it will require some compensation in the suspension set up. The v6 swap has been doneon a few occasions, but you're looking at a pretty significant amount of custom fabrication as well as wiring to get the swap in any sort of working order. My suggestions would be for you to look into swapping in a 4g64 bottom end and transmission, and a 4g63 head out of an evo VIII or IX. Build up the bottome end, upgrade the clutch and axles. Upgrade your springs & struts, along with a camber correction kit and you will have a 250+ whp platform without adding too much weight to the vehicle.
