interior/exterior light problem
 

The interior Brake light and the Battery light comes on when I drive my 1995 Mirage S sedan. When I drive at night the head lights get brighter as the interior lights get bright. Does any one know whats is goin on with my car?

sounds like u may need an alternator

which lights the guage lights? they will get brighter too cause they are also ran by the same electrical system

Probably you put the wrong bulbs or wiring is wrong

I dont think that is the problem. everything is stock for the most part. I wouldnt dream of messing with the interior lights. I checked the alternator and it passed but aparently there was a oil leak gunking up the area sooo that might have started the problem. well I degreased the alternator and replaced the belts. the leaks is coming for the oil pan so my buddy is goin to take care of that. I just dont have the time.

Must be oil pan gasket. that'a an easy fix

yeah not only was it the oil pan gasket it was the crank shaft gasket as well. The alternator was also over chargeing so I replaced that too.
