Default 02 Montero sport
i have an LS model and when you get to around 50 mph the steering wheel starts to vibrate pretty badly until it reaches 55 or 60, then its fine.

anybody got any suggestions on what it is or what to do?

your wheels are not well ballanced.
on wheel ballancing might solve it.

on some cases,the type of rims used and wheel spacer can contribute to this problem.
